Cons
-The ill fitting trays reduce their effectiveness.
-If the gel coming in contact with gums causes discomforting irritation and pain.
-Varied results produced by different brands on different people.

Pros
-Most effective whitening systems available with shade changes of 8-10 being seen.
-Performed by a professional dentist .
-The actual procedure is painless
-Long lasting results
Cons
-Blisters, Cankers and swelling on lips.
-Teeth sensitivity for few days.
-Excessive and repeated treatments damages your teeth.
